The Head of People will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team at FuturLab Ltd, focusing on leadership capability, organisational effectiveness, and people strategy. This role is critical in shaping how the studio operates as it scales, working directly with founders and senior leaders to strengthen culture, alignment, and team performance across a remote-first team of around 100 people.

What We're Looking For
- Experience from organisations that have grown from around 50 to 200 people
- Understanding of the challenges of scaling teams, leadership capability and organisational structure
- Comfort working directly with founders and senior leaders
- Confidence in helping organisations navigate periods of growth and change
- Ability to work at the intersection of leadership, culture and organisational effectiveness
- Comfort advising senior leaders and providing constructive challenge
- Strategic thinking and practical judgement
- Strong alignment with FuturLab’s values: humility, kindness, resilience, and commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to operate in an environment where collaboration, accountability, and 'doing the right thing, kindly' are expected and reinforced
Team & Environment
The role is part of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Founders, alongside the Head of Production and Head of Technology. The studio is a remote-first team of around 100 people, with a small, intentional presence based in Brighton.
