The Head of Legal will oversee all legal operations for a multinational organization specializing in social discovery platforms. This individual will shape and execute the global legal strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives while navigating complex regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across contracts, employment, intellectual property, and litigation
- Ensure compliance with laws and corporate governance standards in all operating jurisdictions
- Monitor legislative developments and update internal policies to maintain regulatory adherence
- Develop and enforce strategies to protect patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets
- Respond to intellectual property violations and enforce rights as needed
- Establish new legal entities with appropriate risk mitigation frameworks
- Oversee financial reporting processes and coordinate external audits
- Collaborate with internal compliance and legal teams to uphold regulatory standards
Qualifications
Applicants must have at least five years in a senior legal leadership role within international organizations and possess advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher). Russian language fluency is an advantage.
