Solace is seeking a Head of Impact Analytics to build and lead the research and analytics function that will demonstrate and quantify the impact of our advocacy services. This role combines clinical expertise, strategic thinking, and technical know-how to develop Solace's strategy for demonstrating impact within our lean, mission-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop the research and impact analytics arm of the clinical vertical, including portfolios of programmatic, organizational, and population-level analysis projects.
- Lead and design descriptive, predictive, and/or causal inference statistical analysis for large-scale projects, ensuring the most appropriate methods are applied.
- Work with stakeholders across Solace to integrate impact analytics insights into company-wide decision-making.
- Translate analysis results and synthesize findings to produce strategic and tactical recommendations for leaders.
- Facilitate and/or lead projects associated with the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and interoperable data infrastructure.
- Oversee and/or support data pipeline development and maintenance and develop data governance structures.
- Identify data platform needs and vendors to deliver needed information and services to produce necessary insights.
- Contribute to product and technical roadmaps that demonstrate an understanding of business value creation.
- Develop a team structure to support research growth and provide technical supervision and mentorship to team hires.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced training in health services research, mathematics/statistics, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of related experience in the healthcare industry with a proven track record of defining and managing projects and interfacing with stakeholders.
- Proven experience in building and applying AI, predictive modeling, and data visualization to real-world program and policy settings.
- Proficient with data tools and platforms including SQL, Python, Snowflake, and others.
- Substantial direct management experience building and leading teams in a fast-growing environment.
- Proven ability to lead, coordinate, and facilitate new ideas into action while collaborating across multiple dynamic projects and teams.
- An understanding of technical data needs, including evaluating external vendors and partnering with internal teams to ensure clinical service data needs are considered.
- Ability to build from scratch, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly to evolving organizational needs.
