AvantStay is looking for a Head of FP&A to lead all financial planning and analysis globally. In this key role, you will build scalable forecasting models and deliver strategic insights to guide business decisions for our hospitality technology company.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain department-specific financial models and dashboards to provide business leaders with insights into their KPIs.
- Build complex models that support the implementation, execution, and progress of innovative strategic decisions.
- Improve financial insights by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and budgets, track them against actual performance, and deliver insights.
- Oversee potential investment and acquisition due diligence, including review of leases, financial conditions, historical property results, and financial assumptions.
- Maintain the company operating model and work with the executive team for raising equity and debt capital through complex financing rounds.
- Partner with Accounting and Finance Operations leadership to identify risks and opportunities to property-level P&Ls and implement strategies for improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 8–12+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and storytelling abilities.
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of real estate and/or hospitality investment analysis, financial modeling, valuation, and metrics.
- Expertise with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI), SQL, and advanced Excel/Sheets.
Nice to Have
- Experience in hospitality, prop-tech, vacation rentals, marketplace businesses, or multi-unit operations.
- Experience working in high-growth or private equity–backed environments.
