DECK 13 Interactive GmbH is hiring a Head of Finance (f/m/x)

DECK 13 Interactive GmbH is hiring a Head of Finance (f/m/x) to lead the entire finance function for our game development studio. You will be responsible for consolidated reporting, financial management for our publishing arm, and guiding a team in a dynamic, creative environment.

What You'll Do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial and management reporting, including consolidated reports for our foreign parent company.
• Conduct regular forecasting on an entity-level and on a project-by-project basis.
• Manage cashflow across multiple corporate entities.
• Lead and manage the company’s finance team, overseeing daily operations like invoice management.
• Handle financial and management reporting for our publishing arm, Deck13 Spotlight.
• Maintain and manage government subsidies.
• Communicate frequently with stakeholders, including team leads, managing directors, group finance teams, and tax advisors.

What We're Looking For

• A relevant academic and/or professional qualification in finance.
• 5+ years of experience in finance and/or controlling.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Expertise in accounting and financial statements.
• A thorough understanding of German tax law and finance-specific regulations.
• Fluency in both German and English.

Nice to Have

• Skills in SQL, Python & Power BI.
• Experience with DATEV.
• Proximity to the office or willingness to regularly join us at our office in Frankfurt am Main at least once per week.
• 1-2 years in a role with a leadership function.
