About the Role
Lead and evolve the engineering function by setting technical direction, managing team performance, and ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term technical vision aligned with business goals
- Manage and mentor a team of software engineers across multiple disciplines
- Oversee system architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and security
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver user-centric solutions
- Establish engineering best practices and development standards
- Drive adoption of modern tools and technologies to improve efficiency
- Monitor key engineering metrics and report on team performance
- Ensure timely delivery of product features and technical milestones
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Lead incident response and ensure robust monitoring systems are in place
- Evaluate and integrate third-party services and APIs
- Support recruitment efforts by identifying talent needs and participating in interviews
- Develop career growth paths for engineering team members
- Manage engineering budget and resource allocation
- Promote knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration
Nice to Have
- Experience in construction technology or related industries
- Master’s degree in computer science or engineering
- Prior experience in a senior technical leadership role
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in software systems
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in European markets
