Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision, ensuring high standards for code integrity, system stability, and security.
- Guide the engineering roadmap to deliver features that improve core business outcomes such as conversion rates and meeting bookings.
- Remain actively involved in development, including coding, code reviews, and solving difficult technical problems.
- Guarantee system dependability, secure practices, and efficient resource use by defining and tracking service level objectives and cloud spending.
- Manage the full technology stack, including continuous integration and deployment, monitoring systems, data protection, and evaluation of large language models.
- Grow the engineering team from four to more than ten members within the next year through a structured and effective hiring strategy.
- Hire, coach, and develop skilled engineers, promoting a work environment centered on accountability, growth, and open communication.
- Introduce simple, effective workflows that enhance productivity without slowing down development velocity.
- Set clear hiring criteria and establish a balanced career progression framework for technical and managerial tracks.
- Promote a culture rooted in technical quality and decisions supported by data.
- Work closely with executive leadership, product, and design teams to shape a technology strategy that reflects business priorities and user input.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to align engineering output with market demands and ensure successful product rollouts.
- Serve as the main technical representative, articulating the platform's direction to stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
