Lead and scale the consumer sales function for an innovative homebuilding company transforming access to affordable housing. As Head of Consumer Sales, you’ll direct the end-to-end performance of direct-to-consumer channels, managing a team of Home Consultants and shaping the customer journey from first contact through contract close.
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Drive revenue growth through D2C sales of accessory dwelling units (ADUs) across California and Colorado, as well as single-family rebuilds in Altadena and new home developments.
- Own the full sales funnel for Neighborhoods by Villa projects, including pipeline management, conversion optimization, and transaction close.
- Develop and refine multi-channel outreach strategies, leveraging Salesforce for reporting, automation, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with marketing to shape messaging, target customer personas, and improve top-of-funnel engagement across digital and physical touchpoints.
Customer Experience & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Elevate the customer journey across digital platforms, model homes, and consultant interactions, ensuring clarity, trust, and transparency.
- Work closely with estimating, legal, and preconstruction teams to validate project feasibility and maintain accuracy from initial proposal to signed agreement.
- Enhance the model home experience by refining booking workflows and in-person educational components in partnership with on-site consultants.
- Partner with design and operations to inform product development based on customer needs and market feedback.
Partnerships & Organizational Growth
- Manage relationships with third-party brokerages and lending partners, overseeing performance, compliance, and service-level alignment.
- Guide the selection of new brokerage partners and contribute to the long-term strategy for external sales channels.
- Support the VP of Growth in setting quarterly objectives and strategic priorities, aligning sales execution with company goals.
- Mentor and coach Home Consultants through active call participation, feedback, and performance management.
Requirements & Mindset
You bring 7–10+ years of consumer-facing sales experience, ideally in residential real estate or homebuilding, with a history of exceeding targets and building high-performing teams. You’re fluent in CRM systems—especially Salesforce—and skilled in crafting scalable outreach and follow-up processes.

This is a hybrid role with primary locations in California and Colorado. Regular travel (10% or more) is expected for client meetings, partner engagements, and industry events.
