Trinchero Family Wine and Spirits is hiring a seasonal Harvest Lab Technician to perform critical analysis of wine and grape components at our facility in Saint Helena, CA. This non-exempt, on-site role is essential to maintaining our production quality during the harvest season.
What You'll Do
- Obtain wine samples from tanks and juice samples from grape trucks
- Perform pH, TA, brix, and nutritional analyses on grape and juice samples
- Analyze bottling tanks, bottled wine, and wines in storage
- Work safely and maintain a clean work station
- Generate analytical results accurately and efficiently
- Perform wine analyses using equipment like gas chromatography, turbidimeter, spectrophotometer, and enzymatic analyzers
- Perform chemical preparation, including acids, bases, buffers, and reference standards
- Comply with the ISO/17025 Quality System
- Understand the Food Safety and Quality Management System and related ISO policies
- Report problems with the food safety management system to your supervisor
What We're Looking For
- Ability to understand and comply with all safety requirements
- Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate effectively and work well with others
- Ability to follow instructions and take direction
Nice to Have
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Enology, Chemistry, or a similar science
- Lab course experience or familiarity with winemaking processes

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $21.00 - $23.50 per hour
