Trinchero Family Wine and Spirits was looking for a Harvest Enologist

Trinchero Family Wine and Spirits is looking for a Harvest Enologist to join our winemaking team in Saint Helena, California. You’ll provide essential technical support during the harvest season, focusing on laboratory work, fermentation monitoring, and special research projects.

What You'll Do

  • Assist winemaking staff with research and routine projects, including running trials and performing statistical analysis.
  • Support the monitoring of harvest cellar activities and fermentations.
  • Perform various laboratory procedures as needed to support winemaking projects.
  • Carry out miscellaneous cellar duties when required, including technical support and quality assurance of wine processing.
  • Maintain current knowledge of wine industry practices, with an emphasis on technological advances.
  • Understand and adhere to the Food Safety and Quality Management System, including SQF standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 4 years of college coursework towards a Science or Enology degree.
  • 3+ years of winery cellar or laboratory experience.
  • Ability to perform the physical labor required for the role.
  • Availability to work long hours, any shift, and 6-7 days per week during crush season.
  • Computer literacy in spreadsheet, database, email, and word processing programs.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Hourly pay range: $23.85 - $26.50.

This role is fully onsite at our Saint Helena, California location.
