Wavemaker is looking for a Senior Executive, Performance Ecomm to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing media implementation and buying for the agency, with a focus on paid digital media campaigns for eCommerce.
What You'll Do
- Manage media implementation and buying for the agency.
- Handle client contact and implementation/delivery of paid digital media campaigns.
- Design performance strategy, campaign implementation, and ongoing performance reporting.
- Work with multiple third parties and exercise total ownership of plan performance.
- Receive client briefs & formulate holistic performance strategies to achieve client KPIs across search, social, and programmatic channels.
- Maintain a high-level understanding of latest social and search ad specs, new/beta features, and best practices.
- Understand the eCommerce ecosystem and employ correct performance marketing techniques across key platforms.
- Troubleshoot technical issues at all stages of the campaign process.
- Monitor campaign performance and pacing and conduct performance analyses to optimize campaigns.
- Maintain a close working relationship with all third parties to ensure accurate campaign implementation & performance.
- Work closely with the team to integrate reports, learnings and optimise budgets.
- Liaise with media partners and third parties to identify new opportunities.
- Proactively share media innovation news and organise expert POVs.
- Regularly liaise with main search and social specialists (e.g., Google, Facebook).
- Build and maintain effective client relationships to control workflows, manage demands, and manage expectations.
- Build relationships with Procurement and Marketing teams within the client.
- Maintain relationships with required digital practitioners within the markets.
- Help senior team members achieve market consistency across performance KPI setting, reporting, and performance management.
- Help markets troubleshoot scenarios and supply best practice advice.
- Adhere to and uphold operational requirements, including internal tracking procedures, financial requests, and GAR and CSI procedures.
- Commit to new procedures onboarded into the team.
- Participate in training programmes and proactively seek external educational opportunities.
- Own your own development and share career development aspirations.
- Participate in internal initiatives for business or cultural improvement.
- Contribute to internal business reporting and respect stakeholder requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years working experience in Digital Marketing or relevant industry.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills.
- Creative and a good team player.
- Detail oriented, responsive to deadlines and able to multitask.
- Client servicing experience and good interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of digital marketing.
- Ongoing interest in digital marketing, industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies.
- Knowledge and experience in UX, Paid Search & SEO is an added bonus.
