Munson Healthcare is looking for a dedicated Grounds team member to maintain our hospital facilities' outdoor environment. You will perform a variety of outdoor tasks in support of our community-focused mission and values of excellence, teamness, and positivity.

What You'll Do

Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming shrubs, raking leaves, edging, weeding, and mulching.
Operate hospital equipment including push mowers, tractors, power trimmers, edgers, chain saws, and manual tools.
Perform snow removal by shoveling, sanding, salting, and operating snow blowers, tractors, and pickup trucks with plows.
Conduct daily preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper operation and readiness.
Complete daily pickup of trash from outdoor receptacles and litter from grounds and parking areas.

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Michigan Driver License.
Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl occasionally.
Ability to walk and handle materials frequently and work on feet constantly.
Capability to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures for extended periods.
