Her Campus Media is looking for a creative, organized, and growth-minded Social Media & Content Creator who is deeply in tune with Greek life and viral social content to develop engaging and trending social content, specifically across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
In this role, you'll be responsible for making and sourcing multiple videos and posts per day for these platforms, leveraging your unique voice and deep knowledge of Greek life culture to connect with the audience, grow following, and drive engagement. You'll work closely with our social team to identify and execute content opportunities, translating your strong understanding of current social media trends into compelling videos and posts that resonate with our audience and drive maximum reach and engagement.
Beyond content creation, responsibilities include staying on the pulse of the latest social media trends, adapting popular memes to fit the accounts, writing social copy that hits with Gen Z, scheduling posts, tracking and optimizing performance, and engaging with community members across platforms. You'll also conduct outreach to crowdsource and repost community-driven content with proper permission.
Qualifications
Open to current undergraduate students or recent college graduates.
Entrepreneurial with strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills.
Working knowledge of Google Workspace tools.
Hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient, and creative work ethic.
Passionate about the Her Campus Media mission.
Strong video editing skills and comfortability with being on camera.
A love for social media and a pulse on the latest trends.
A deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram, both from a creator and user perspective.
A keen interest in creating pop culture, beauty, career, style, and lifestyle-related content, with a specific interest in collegiate Greek life and broader college experiences.

Additional Information
Commitment: 12-15 hours per week
Salary Range: $20-23 per hour
Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, experience, and other factors.
