VMD Corp is looking for a Graphic Designer with 5-7+ years of professional experience and formal training. You will be responsible for creating compelling visual content and providing expert technical and artistic advice, working directly with clients and internal teams to support our mission-critical work.
What You'll Do
- Create wireframe mockups for new external site content
- Provide technical and artistic advice to staff regarding visual information
- Work directly with clients, including agency leadership
- Create dynamic and interactive maps from data sources using Tableau
- Produce video content, web content, and social media content
What We're Looking For
- 5 – 7+ years of Graphic Design experience with evidence of formal training
- Bachelor’s degree (additional years of experience can substitute)
- Strong layout publication and graphics design skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Lightform Creator, Aquia Widen Hub, Brightcove, and digital asset management systems
- Experience with Tableau
- Experience with video production, web content, and social media
- Knowledge of both traditional and digital formats (including 3-D)
- Confident ability to provide technical and artistic advice
- Proven experience creating wireframe mockups
- Flexibility and ability to pivot creative direction
- Ability to work directly with clients
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and time management
- Ability to work creatively with efficiency in a collaborative environment
- Strong understanding of design principles and branding
- Skilled with document layout, promotional graphics, and infographics
- Minimum clearance to start: Public Trust
- Work Status Allowable: US Citizen or Permanent Resident
