The Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to support ONC’s mission of providing nonpartisan news and promoting effective solutions to America’s challenges. In this role, you will create visual content that engages our community and supports various departments across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with various departments to create creative and informative content that engages our community.
- Design advertisements using headlines from the creative writing team for potential sponsors.
- Create designs including book covers, infographics, logos, fliers, and graphics for video projects.
- Communicate professionally with leadership about designs, layouts, timelines, and ideas.
What We're Looking For
- Interest in Graphic Design or pursuing a degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of basic editing software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva.
- Responsive, consistent, and effective communication skills, even during conflict.
- Ability to work remotely and manage your own schedule to meet deadlines.
- Ability to attend weekly organization-wide and media team meetings.
- Must be authorized to intern in the U.S.
