Cargill is looking for a Grain and Crop Inputs Plant Operator to join our team in Yorkton, SK. In this hands-on role, you will perform essential facility operations for receiving and shipping agricultural products, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and cleanliness.
What You'll Do
- Perform facility operations such as receiving and shipping products, which may include fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and grain
- Conduct basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to ensure ongoing facility operations
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
What We're Looking For
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs occasionally, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Basic use of a computer
- Ability to work in various weather, industrial, and agricultural settings
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- May require a valid Canadian full class 5 driver’s licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during your employment
Nice to Have
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice
- Basic mechanical aptitude
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $22.00 - $28.00 /hr CAD
