Wärtsilä is hiring a Goods Receiving Inspector to join the Supplier Quality Assurance team at our Vaasa Delivery Centre. In this permanent, shift-based role, you'll perform a diverse range of quality assurance tasks, including detailed inspections and documentation, ensuring components meet our high standards.
What You'll Do
- Inspect incoming engine components from subcontractors using technical drawings and quality standards
- Conduct inspections of sample and test parts as well as materials in stock
- Analyze and report inspection results and make operational decision assessments based on them
- Continuously develop inspection methods, programs, and your own scope of work
- Maintain work safety and address and report observed quality, environmental, or safety deviations
What We're Looking For
- Strong ability to read technical drawings
- Knowledge of IT tools like Office365
- Experience using CMM measuring devices
- Fluent oral and written Finnish language skills; good English skills are an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of SAP (S/4HANA, EWM) and M-Files
- Valid work safety, forklift, and crane licenses considered an advantage

Team & Environment
You'll be part of the Supplier Quality Assurance team and the Wärtsilä Delivery Centre STH receiving inspection unit, reporting to the Team Lead for Supplier Quality Assurance.

This is an onsite position based in our Vaasa, Finland location.
