Pareto.AI is hiring a Global People Operations Manager to drive strategic people initiatives and optimize the employee experience across our global organization. You will own the systems, processes, and programs that enable an exceptional employee journey, build scalable infrastructure, and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
What You'll Do
- Drive seamless employee onboarding to ensure new team members feel welcomed, informed, and equipped to succeed.
- Coach and empower managers to enhance their leadership capabilities and bring out the best in their teams.
- Implement and own People Operations tools and systems such as HRIS, Gusto, and Remote.
- Use data and metrics to inform people decisions, monitor organizational health, and drive transparency.
- Identify automation opportunities and drive innovative solutions to enhance the overall employee experience.
- Design, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure legal compliance.
- Partner with leadership on compensation decisions and budget planning.
- Evaluate, recommend, and roll out benefit offerings for a diverse, global workforce.
- Develop and maintain compensation management frameworks and salary band structures.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive total rewards packages.
- Lead the People Ops function for our global workforce concentrated in the US, LATAM, and APAC.
- Maintain HR documentation, processes, and compliance across global jurisdictions.
- Serve as primary point of contact for immigration matters, providing guidance on visa and work authorization processes.
- Support international candidates and employees with documentation, timelines, and onboarding logistics.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of People Ops experience, ideally in a startup environment and with a global team.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate to work 2 days a week from our San Francisco office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work across all organizational levels.
- Expertise in HR policies and procedures including employee handbooks, total rewards, and the employee lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of Federal and California employment law with familiarity in global compliance.
- Extensive experience managing the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
- Direct ownership of People Ops tools and systems such as HRIS, payment systems, and EORs.
- Proven project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional projects from conception to completion.
- Experience with US immigration processes and global mobility programs.
