About the Role

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries is hiring a Global Engineering Project Manager to lead complex, strategic projects across its global manufacturing footprint. You will manage the full lifecycle of major capital investments and operational programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards while achieving cost, quality, safety, and schedule objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Establish project scope and define boundaries.
  • Prepare project charters with clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans with detailed time schedules.
  • Formulate budget and cost plans, managing capital expenditure requests, purchase orders, invoices, and cash flow.
  • Create a resource plan aligned with forecasted workload requirements.
  • Identify key milestones and implement management stage-gate reviews.
  • Assess risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
  • Define project governance procedures, including communication protocols and organizational workflows.
  • Lead and coordinate the project team throughout execution, including commissioning and qualification.
  • Provide regular updates on status, progress, changes, and risks to the steering committee.
  • Oversee handover activities to confirm successful project completion.
  • Facilitate lessons learned sessions to generate actionable insights.
  • Support and coach junior project managers in managing strategic projects.
  • Guide implementation of global Teva standards and project management tools.
  • Liaise with other Teva Global Functions to support compliance with established procedures.
  • Coordinate with TLMS (Teva Lean Management System) methodology for project management.
  • Monitor strategic projects led locally by site engineering teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Engineering degree required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent understanding of project and program management, including tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated project and program management expertise.
  • Ability to communicate and present to top management, translating vision into work plans.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to coordinate multifunctional teams.
  • Experience working within large, complex organizations with multiple interfaces.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business orientation with the ability to set clear business objectives.
  • Ability to manage group discussions, build consensus, and drive alignment.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders in cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Willing to travel abroad based on project requirements.

Nice to Have

  • M.A. degree.
  • Significant direct experience as a site engineering or maintenance manager in a pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
  • Global or multinational experience.
  • Additional language skills.

Work Mode

This is a global role. Locations include Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Ireland, Germany, Italy, UK, or any other Teva operations site in Europe.
