SGS Australia / Fulcrum Robotics is hiring a Global Circularity and Sustainability Certification Manager

About the Role

This role leads the global strategy for Circularity and Sustainability Certification services, ensuring technical accuracy, commercial performance, and adherence to accreditation standards across a network of affiliates. You will oversee product development, maintain compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks, and guide cross-regional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality certification solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Direct the global management of accredited and non-accredited certification programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
  • Oversee accreditation scope maintenance and expansion in coordination with global accreditation and ESG assurance teams.
  • Lead a team of Product Managers and serve as Accreditation Manager for key Social Certification schemes.
  • Represent the organization in international forums such as standardization bodies, industry councils, and scheme owner working groups.
  • Monitor regulatory shifts, market dynamics, and competitive activity to inform product evolution and growth strategies.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison for affiliates, delivering clear, actionable guidance to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and business development teams to create targeted materials and support client engagement initiatives.
  • Develop pricing models, KPIs, and operational processes to enhance service delivery efficiency and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing global certification programs with a focus on sustainability, circularity, or ESG frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of accreditation requirements, impartiality governance, and technical compliance processes.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with regional affiliates to align global and local strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with executive-level stakeholders and external bodies.
  • Deep familiarity with sustainability standards, market research methodologies, and certification decision workflows.
  • Commitment to health and safety protocols and adherence to professional conduct policies.
