Power Factors is hiring a Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy to play a pivotal role supporting our Corporate Strategy & Executive Leadership and Corporate Development teams. You’ll join a purpose-driven organization of innovators determined to have a positive impact.
What You'll Do
- Manage cross-functional strategic projects by structuring approach, conducting primary and secondary research, and performing analysis.
- Summarize key findings into clear, concise documents and presentations for leadership.
- Work closely with colleagues globally to leverage in-house knowledge and ensure buy-in.
- Build relationships with outside providers and partners to build a funnel of partnership and M&A opportunities.
- Drive evaluation of potential M&A and partnerships, including financial, strategic, and operational analysis, validated cross-functionally.
- Work with cross-functional teams to set up value-adding partnerships for our product suite.
- Support the team on critical projects with research and analysis.
- Help drive the operations of the strategy team and company by staying on top of reporting cadence.
- Support the development of client-ready presentations and financial models.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of market dynamics, customer strategies, and industry developments.
- Develop a set of key market indicators to track trends impacting customers.
- Provide regular reporting on financial metrics of customers, competitors, and investors in our sector.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or strategy consulting.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to distill information into a clear, concise, and compelling narrative for stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter who can structure complex problems and projects to deliver results.
- College/University B.A. or B.S. required.
- Proficiency in English is required to support English-speaking customers and collaborate with teams outside Québec.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the energy or renewables vertical.
