Responsibilities
- Analyze geographic data to identify conservation priorities
- Develop detailed maps for ecological planning and reporting
- Apply remote sensing techniques to monitor landscape changes
- Build spatial models to predict environmental impacts
- Collaborate with scientists on data interpretation
- Support field teams with geospatial tools and resources
- Maintain accurate geodatabases and metadata
- Use GIS software to process large environmental datasets
- Evaluate land use patterns and habitat fragmentation
- Contribute to scientific publications and reports
- Design interactive web-based mapping applications
- Assess climate change effects using spatial analytics
- Integrate satellite imagery into conservation planning
- Support conservation planning at regional and national scales
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across projects
- Participate in cross-disciplinary research teams
- Translate technical findings for non-specialist audiences
- Develop methods to improve data collection efficiency
- Conduct quality assurance on spatial outputs

Nice to Have
- Master's degree in geospatial science, ecology, or related field
