- Georgia Temporary License Opportunity (New to the Industry) For individuals new to the insurance industry, Georgia offers a Temporary Life Insurance License pathway that may allow qualified candidates to begin training and working under supervision while completing their full licensing process. Candidates who are not yet licensed may still apply if they: Are located in Georgia Are willing to complete the state licensing requirements Are open to participating in a structured training and onboarding program During the temporary license period, agents work under supervision while completing the steps necessary to obtain their permanent life insurance license.
