Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of senior management experience in a standalone company or subsidiary in Mexico, preferably in wholesale, import/export, or manufacturing sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of Mexican business operations, including corporate setup, taxation (e.g., IVA, ISR), labor laws, and import regulations (e.g., customs procedures, IMMEX program).
- Proven expertise in supply chain and logistics, with experience in importing goods under international trade agreements.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and financial software.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and verbal) is required; must be fluent in English to effectively communicate with U.S. headquarters.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate government bureaucracy and maintain compliance in a regulated industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
Nice to Have
- Existing relationships with Mexican customs authorities, regulatory officials, logistics providers, and industry networks in the PPE or industrial goods sector.
- Experience in the PPE, safety equipment, or related industrial products industry.
- Familiarity with U.S.-Mexico cross-border operations and USMCA compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data analytics tools.
- Certification in international trade, supply chain (e.g., CSCP), or Mexican business law is a plus.
