Stanbridge University is hiring a part-time General Education Adjunct Faculty member to teach Anatomy and Physiology. You will join the General Education science division, delivering high-quality instruction and contributing to student success and program effectiveness.
What You'll Do
- Teach on-campus Anatomy and Physiology courses.
- Deliver instruction using course syllabi and appropriate educational resources.
- Establish a classroom environment conducive to student learning.
- Plan and prepare effectively for instruction and student success.
- Adapt teaching style and strategies to promote student success.
- Assess student work promptly and convey feedback.
- Manage the learning environment by keeping accurate records and submitting grades on time.
- Administer academic and attendance policies.
- Participate in programmatic shared governance.
What We're Looking For
- Willingness to commute to at least one campus.
- Graduate-level or terminal degree in a science discipline from an accredited institution.
- At least 15 semester credit hours (or equivalent) in the subject area taught.
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Action-oriented, innovative thinking, and flexible approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work within deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Ability to travel to more than one campus.
- A minimum of two (2) years experience teaching adult learners in higher education.
