Gauntlet is looking for a Quant Research Engineer - New Grad to contribute to the modeling and optimization of decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. You'll join a team focused on analyzing and improving the economic security of blockchain networks.
What You'll Do
- Build and refine quantitative models to simulate DeFi protocol behavior
- Design and implement agent-based simulations to analyze risk and performance
- Develop tools to automate data analysis and model validation
- Collaborate with research and engineering teams to translate models into production-grade systems
What We're Looking For
- Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and probability
- Proficiency in a programming language like Python for data analysis and modeling
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Interest in the mechanics of blockchain protocols and DeFi
