General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Functional Analyst / Trainer. This role combines training development and delivery with customer-facing analysis to understand and define software system needs within an Agile development environment.
What You'll Do
- Create training slides and content for software applications.
- Deliver classroom training and formal presentations, with a preference for virtual online delivery.
- Engage with customers to understand software system needs and develop requirements for changes.
- Develop system use cases to elaborate on user roles and functions.
- Leverage your industry or mission experience to provide context during problem elaboration.
- Apply an open mindset during solutioning sessions.
- Facilitate customer interactions with development teams to ensure optimal discussions.
- Develop slide decks, research unfamiliar topics, and coordinate with subject matter experts.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) documents such as Incident Response Plans and Configuration Management Plans.
- Maintain DOD-mandated certifications, including Security+.
- Work with Government and contract stakeholders to ensure security controls are updated.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of related experience.
- BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Possession of Security+ or GSEC certification (or higher) per DoD 8140 requirements.
