KBC Group is looking for a Functional Analyst to play a key role in our digital transformation within insurance. You will translate business needs into functional designs and oversee their technical implementation, acting as the essential bridge between IT and Business units in a dynamic Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment.

What You'll Do

Translate business needs into smart, scalable functional designs.
Define and execute attribute and functional tests aligned with clear acceptance criteria.
Oversee the technical implementation of your designs.
Model future-proof data and collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure quality and compliance.
Support GDPR-compliant data handling and guide business stakeholders in data design.
Contribute to feasibility studies and strategic planning.
Work in a dynamic Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment with delivery cycles of 3–6 months.

What We're Looking For

Experience working as a bridge between IT and Business, such as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, System Analyst, Solution Architect, or other relevant role.
Knowledge of Functional Design.
Knowledge of SQL.
Familiarity with data modeling, databases, and cloud environments.
A proactive, self-starting attitude.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work fluently in English.
A flexible, team-oriented mindset—and plenty of common sense.

Nice to Have

A passion for data and curiosity about Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Python, AWS are a plus).
Ideal experience in insurance or a strong willingness to learn the domain.
