SMG Swiss Marketplace Group is hiring a Fullstack Engineer in Ho Chi Minh City to build the future of the Swiss real estate market. You will contribute to a cloud-based and on-prem platform that simplifies apartment rentals by digitally connecting tenants with landlords and property managers.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, test, and deliver new features that bring value to our users.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and drive technical discussions within the team.
- Translate high-level ideas and requirements into practical solutions.
- Own your services end-to-end, from development and testing to delivery and monitoring.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure the stability of our microservices architecture.
- Challenge the status quo and continuously improve the architecture, code, and tools to ensure high-quality software delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.
- 3+ years of experience in web development, building user-facing products with end-to-end ownership across multiple layers of the stack.
- 2+ years of experience with Python/Django for backend development.
- Proficient in working with databases.
- A creative, adaptable, problem-solving individual who thrives in collaborative environments.
- A positive attitude and team player.
- Open to change and able to propose solutions.
Nice to Have
- Prior working experience with frontend frameworks like React or similar.
- Prior working experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
- Prior working experience with APIs and microservices.
- Prior working experience with cloud services providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
