Schaeffler is looking for a Digital Engineer to maintain and enhance our factory digitalization platforms. You will act as a key bridge between production needs and IT solutions, implementing and coordinating software in the production environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform daily maintenance and implement updates for new requirements on the existing factory digitalization platform.
- Translate production requirements into standard IT and digital solutions.
- Lead the implementation, roll-out, and operational coordination of IT and software solutions in the production area.
- Train factory employees on digitalization tools and IT knowledge.
What We're Looking For
- Over 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong technical understanding of IT infrastructure and programming skills in Java, VUE, and Mendix.
- Experience and understanding in AI-related fields such as image recognition, large language models, and knowledge graphs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Professional fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Nice to Have
- Manufacturing digital and AI-related experience.
