Schaeffler is looking for a Digital Engineer to join our global team. You will play a key role in advancing how the world moves by maintaining and enhancing our factory digitalization platforms. You'll be responsible for translating production requirements into effective IT and digital solutions, directly impacting our manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and update the existing factory digitalization platform with new requirements.
- Translate production needs into standard IT and digital solutions.
- Implement, roll out, and coordinate the operation of IT and software solutions within production.
- Train factory employees on digitalization tools and IT knowledge.
What We're Looking For
- Over 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong technical understanding of IT infrastructure and programming skills in Java, VUE, and Mendix.
- Experience and understanding in AI-related fields such as image recognition, large language models, and knowledge graphs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
