TaxValet is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will design and build product features for our maternity healthcare platform, utilizing Python and React. In this role, you will contribute to architecture, APIs, and UI components for patient and provider applications, reporting directly to the VP of Engineering.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for our maternity healthcare platform.
- Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure robustness, reliability, and scalability of software systems.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and healthcare regulations to enhance software solutions and maintain compliance.
- Own features from concept to completion.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience (5+ years) in software development with experience in a full stack role, designing and building features.
- Proficiency in Python with an understanding of API development.
- Knowledge of databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in Typescript and React.
- Strong understanding of frontend best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Python ORMs, preferably SQLAlchemy.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $130,000 - $150,000
