Cognizant is hiring a Full Stack JavaScript/TypeScript Developer for its Delivery Team. You will work on automation solutions that combine AI, orchestration, and modern web technologies. Your focus will be building custom agents for enterprise customers using an internal SDK and platform, tackling challenges like browser automation, AI-driven workflows, OCR, data manipulation, and system integrations.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain agents using TypeScript.
- Implement browser automation using tools like Puppeteer or Playwright.
- Integrate AI, OCR, data handling, and system-level automation into end-to-end workflows.
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand customer requirements.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex automation scenarios in real customer environments.
- Work closely with product, platform, and other delivery engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement practices.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of JavaScript experience; strong TypeScript skills are preferred.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and HTTP-based interactions.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Puppeteer and/or Playwright.
- Experience with Node.js.
- Experience integrating AI models and leveraging AI coding tools.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
