We are looking for a Software Developer Advisor to join our team supporting national space enterprise and ground systems. In this role, you will provide critical program support to a government Program Manager, offering technical expertise on complex systems and helping shape the future ground architecture.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as program support to the government Program Manager with responsibility for technical knowledge of assigned teams and programs.
- Provide technical guidance on the integration of National Systems-based capabilities.
- Plan the design and maintenance of software applications, platforms, systems, and data repositories.
- Evaluate, test, and optimize software for supportability, portability, speed, and scalability.
- Consult with mission specialists, engineers, security specialists, and stakeholders.
- Present new features to stakeholders and internal customers.
- Support information assurance, RMF processes, and information systems security engineering.
- Support Agile-based program management and implementation of a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach.
- Participate in IPT meetings and review process boards such as ERBs, CCBs, SRRs, CDRs, PDRs, and PMRs.
- Support the PM in systems, mission, and enterprise engineering; program management; analytic support; technical analysis; testing; DevSecOps; architecture; and customer outreach.
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Government leadership team and coordinate with external mission partners.
What We’re Looking For
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Strong software architecture, development, and production experience.
- Experience with at least two of the following: Programming languages/platforms/architectures; cloud engineering; and data access/storage.
- Experience with at least two of the following: Testing, improving, and maintaining software built by other engineers.
- Experience with at least two of the following: Information assurance or information system security.
- Experience with at least two of the following: Cloud hosting environments.
- Ability to facilitate commonality within the enterprise by defining, architecting, and integrating a multi-INT, multi-sensor, and multi-nodal processing capability.
- Ability to problem-solve in a rapidly changing environment and interface with the customer daily.
- Ability to track and respond to office tasking, build and present program briefings, and update project schedules.
- For Mid-Level: B.S. degree in STEM and 7-10 years of experience with background in National space and ground systems.
- For Senior-Level: B.S. degree in STEM and 10+ years of experience with background in National space and ground systems.
Nice to Have
- Master’s Degree in a STEM field.
- Familiarity with the IC and NRO enterprise architecture, DOD's space architecture, and public/private cloud environments.
- Experience developing, editing, and updating software architecture and CONOPs documentation.
- Familiarity with enforcing IT standards within an infrastructure and maintaining system documentation.
- Knowledge of Electro-optical, RADAR, SIGINT, Communications, Mission Management, and Mission processing systems supporting space and ground architecture.
- Experience generating and codifying inter-segment and inter-system interface requirements for major space mission systems.
- Working knowledge of SAFe Agile or similar agile processes and JIRA/Confluence tools.
- Certifications in DevSecOps, Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP), AWS, OMG Systems Modeler, Agile, Project Management, or MBSE.
- Experience with RDNG/DOORs, Rhapsody, SysML applications, Confluence, Jira, or JSMART.
- Understanding of how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread.
- Ability to travel.

Benefits & Compensation
- Mid-Level Salary Range: $120,700 - $188,725
- Senior-Level Salary Range: $146,200 - $228,400
