Lago is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom websites and e-commerce solutions using WordPress and Shopify. You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to deliver solutions that drive business value.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain custom websites and e-commerce solutions using WordPress and Shopify.
- Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Customize and extend functionality through theme development, plugin customization (WordPress), and app integration (Shopify).
- Develop server-side logic and APIs to support dynamic functionality and data management.
- Ensure website and application performance, security, and SEO best practices.
- Conduct regular code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and operations, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Stay informed on evolving technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve development workflows and product outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, PHP, MySQL).
- Proven experience with Shopify and Shopify Liquid templating, as well as app integrations and store customizations.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries such as jQuery.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, AJAX, and cross-platform integrations.
- Experience working with page speed optimization tools and strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote team environment.
