What You'll Do
You'll play a key role in maintaining and refining a large-scale application built on a diverse set of technologies. Your work will span backend and frontend systems, from enhancing PHP-driven WordPress platforms to developing features for mobile apps using React Native and Expo. You'll build and maintain APIs that connect customer-facing applications, contribute to a Next.js web platform, and troubleshoot issues across layers of the stack. As the technology evolves, you’ll be expected to quickly learn and integrate new tools and approaches.
Requirements
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, and experience with WordPress development and customization
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining custom PHP applications and WordPress integrations
- 2–3 years of professional software development experience
- Strong debugging skills and the ability to navigate complex codebases
- Experience or interest in leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini to enhance software capabilities
- Effective communication skills, particularly in remote, collaborative settings
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven background in PHP and WordPress for core system development
- Frontend experience with React, particularly in web environments
- Exposure to logistics, e-commerce, or similar domains
- Experience optimizing and scaling database performance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field — optional, with emphasis placed on practical ability
