LMI is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join a team supporting a Defense Intelligence client in Washington, D.C. You will bring experience across development technologies and methodologies to enhance capabilities in software development, cloud engineering, and code implementation.

What You'll Do

Deliver web solutions for the federal government, developing in multiple languages on front and backend, microservices, and APIs.
Work with the government lead to develop solutions, interface designs, and website architecture.
Work within Agile development methodologies.
Update and create customized web applications, which may include Tableau Dashboards, implementing software code, and debugging technical issues.
Research, test, build, and coordinate integration per government requirements, working with the government lead to develop site concepts.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (or an associates degree with 8+ years of experience).
Active TS/SCI security clearance; TS/SCI with polygraph is preferred (applicants with TS/SCI eligible for polygraph will be sponsored for upgrade).
5+ years of software development experience.
Experience in frontend and/or backend web application development.
Backend: professional experience with at least one back end language: C#, Java, Python, or Go.
Frontend: professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, using APIs, design, CSS, HTML, and React.
Strong SQL skills, or ORMs.
Self-motivated, able to take loose requirements and turn them into solutions.
Willingness to reach out for guidance as well as offer alternative solutions.
Experience using version control with GitLab or GitHub.
Comfortable interacting with developers and non-developers to solve technical challenges and requirements.
Comfortable troubleshooting existing applications as well as creating new applications or features.
Clear and frequent communication skills.
Proficient in relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, including schema design, data definition, and advanced queries.

Nice to Have

Full stack experience.
Comfortable using a variety of tech stacks (e.g., .NET/C#/Windows/SQL Server and Linux/Python/Postgres).
Security+ certification.
Modern frontend development experience with frameworks like React, Vue, Solid, or Angular.
Data analytics and data visualization skills.
UI design experience.
Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools.
Familiarity with IA processes and accreditation.
Meet DOD 8570 certification requirements (Security+); willing to get if not already held.
UI Path experience.
