Job Mobz is hiring a Full-cycle Technical Recruiter on a contract basis to support an AI lab. This role owns technically complex searches end-to-end, partners directly with engineering leadership, and directly influences product capability and the company's long-term AI research strategy.
What You'll Do
- Partner directly with engineering leadership on technically complex, often ambiguous searches.
- Own searches from end to end, including running the process, evaluating candidates, and closing offers.
What We're Looking For
- You understand enough about distributed systems, ML research, and AI/ML to evaluate candidates beyond simple keyword matching.
- You can calibrate for quality in roles where job descriptions are loose and the bar is set by a hiring team's judgment, not a strict rubric.
- You earn credibility with specialized technical leaders and researchers quickly.
- You are comfortable sitting with uncertainty on specialized searches and working through it without defaulting to high-volume tactics.
Team & Environment
This is a lean, high-output team of approximately 160 employees that is scaling.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based in Palo Alto, CA.
