NuCO2 is hiring a FSM Developer Analyst

The FSM Developer Analyst analyzes business requirements and configures Field Service Management (FSM), Planning Scheduling & Optimization (PSO), and FSM Mobile platforms to support logistics, distribution, scheduling, dispatch, routing, and inventory management. Acts as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring system configurations align with strategic goals and operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes user needs to design system solutions that support Field Service Management and business objectives
  • Documents system requirements, defines project scope and goals, and develops detailed system specifications
  • Configures the FSM platform according to defined specifications
  • Serves as an IT liaison with business users, combining technical and business process knowledge
  • Provides expert consultation on projects and contributes at a high level as a specialist
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to assess business processes and configure, develop, and maintain FSM, PSO, Mobile, and related middleware solutions
  • Works with functional owners to design workflows, solve business challenges, and support evolving priorities using process knowledge
  • Develops functional specifications including logic, configuration, test plans, and security needs
  • Executes configuration tasks to demonstrate system functionality and value
  • Supports all phases of the product lifecycle implementation
  • Identifies and resolves root causes of system issues through troubleshooting
  • Ensures technical solutions and recommendations support business strategies
  • Defines business value in customer-centric terms
  • Creates a clear strategy for bringing solutions to market
  • Researches new software releases and updates to plan for process enhancements
  • Conducts training and informational sessions as required

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across departments and with vendors
  • Applies advanced technical solutioning skills, including proficiency in SQL and .NET
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for business and technical inquiries related to FSM, PSO, and Mobile systems
  • Collaborates across business units, operations, and vendors for FSM integration and requirements gathering
  • Understands and interprets business needs and issues presented to the development team
  • Acts as a change agent to support workflow and process improvements
  • Contributes to IT deliverables and produces standard documentation using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft technologies such as Azure Cloud, DevOps, Visual Studio, MS SQL Server, C#, .NET Framework (WCF, MVC, API), MS O365, Power BI, and SSIS
  • Exhibits strong analytical abilities and experience in capturing and modeling business data requirements using logical data models
  • Shows a strong commitment to teamwork, with proven project management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Assists in conducting functional acceptance testing for system enhancements, patches, and upgrades
  • Provides end-user training, support, and develops standard operating procedures
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or has equivalent education and professional experience
  • Has at least two years of experience in both technical and functional support of FSM systems, including logistics (inbound and outbound), distribution, scheduling, dispatch, routing, and route optimization
  • Has three or more years of experience with Microsoft development tools and programming
  • Has two or more years of experience configuring IFS products

Nice to Have

  • Certifications in Business Analysis, FSM, PSO, or Project Management are advantageous
  • Experience with IFS FSM, PSO, Mobile, and Cloud products is preferred
  • Proven track record applying FSM solutions to achieve goals in industries such as food and beverage, manufacturing, services, and repair

Compensation

Work Arrangement

onsite — Full-time Monday through Friday

Additional Information

  • This position operates on all company business days, full-time from Monday through Friday
  • Candidate must be available on-call as needed to provide technical support for FSM, PSO, and Mobile systems
  • Travel is required less than 5% of the time
  • The role involves interaction with all levels of the organization and multiple business areas
  • Timely and professional communication is required with business users, IT colleagues, and software and professional services vendors
