SweedPos is seeking a Frontend Team Lead (React) to join our product-driven startup building an all-in-one platform for cannabis retail. In this role, you will lead our frontend team, balancing hands-on development with leadership responsibilities to help scale and optimize the platform.

What You'll Do

Address complex architectural decisions and technical debt.
Provide guidance on the selection of appropriate technologies and frameworks.
Document coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, trends, and industry best practices, and evaluate their applicability to the team’s work.
Lead code review processes to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to unblock the team and ensure quality standards are met.
Actively participate in the development of frontend features and functionalities.
Collaborate with the team to design and implement new user interface components.
Identify bottlenecks or external dependencies.
Navigate communication and collaboration issues within the team and with other departments.
Determine and manage priorities and deadlines for different work streams.
Identify opportunities to improve team processes, efficiency, and quality, and advocate for changes that improve overall team productivity.
Design and continuously improve the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new team members.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

What We're Looking For

3+ years experience in a Team or Tech Lead role.
Solid experience with React and TypeScript.
Experience in the realization of architectural solutions.
An engineering mindset.

Team & Environment

The total company size is around 200 people, with a distributed development team located across multiple countries. You'll work in a cross-functional team of 8-12 members dedicated to a specific product, consisting of front-end and back-end engineers, QA specialists, and analysts. Each team is guided by a Team Lead and a Product Owner. You will report to the Head of Frontend.
