Weekday is hiring a Frontend Experience Engineer to build exceptional, high-performance web interfaces that power mission-critical cybersecurity workflows. You will take ownership of building modern single-page applications enabling real-time insights, interactive dashboards, and seamless user journeys.

What You'll Do

Build, enhance, and maintain modern SPA applications using React and TypeScript.
Create reusable component libraries and scalable design systems used across the product.
Develop responsive, accessible, and intuitive interfaces aligned with UX best practices.
Work with real-time data, visualization components, and performance-optimized interactions.
Integrate frontend applications with backend services through structured API contracts.
Partner with backend and product teams to shape data flows and interaction patterns.
Implement resilient error-handling, offline-ready capabilities, and fault-tolerant UX behavior.
Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, build tooling, and technical roadmap.
Define and uphold code quality, testing standards, and engineering workflows.
Conduct performance profiling and optimize Core Web Vitals metrics.
Maintain high-quality documentation and participate in regular design and code reviews.

What We're Looking For

4–7 years of professional frontend development experience.
Deep expertise with modern React (hooks, functional components, SPA patterns).
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and scalable component architecture.
Hands-on experience with Vite, Webpack, or other modern build tools.
Solid knowledge of state management libraries like Redux Toolkit, React Query, or Zustand.
Experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, and RTL.
Familiarity with Tailwind, Styled Components, or modern CSS frameworks.
