SMG Swiss Marketplace Group is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer for our Platform Engineering Team at SMG Real Estate. You will be responsible for providing the tools and experience for our development teams, focusing on improving developer productivity and satisfaction by defining processes, frameworks, and best practices.
What You'll Do
- Work with engineers to understand their challenges and improve their experience.
- Leverage your knowledge to deliver the best frontend development platform and tooling.
- Help define processes, frameworks, and best practices for front-end development.
- Implement the frontend of internal-facing solutions used by our engineers.
What We're Looking For
- Strong English communication skills.
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development with frameworks such as Vue and/or React.
- 2+ years of experience with TypeScript.
- Experience implementing frontend tests.
- Motivation to help engineers be more productive and have the best possible developer experience.
Nice to Have
- Backend or full-stack development experience.
- Previous experience in Developer Experience or Platform Engineering.
- Familiarity with AWS, including integrating frontends with AWS Lambda.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions, including building pipelines to deploy frontends.
