Spatial Front, Inc is hiring a Frontend Developer

Spatial Front, Inc is looking for a Frontend Developer to design and build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces for Federal Government web applications. You will deliver mission-critical digital solutions to our Federal Government customers, creating intuitive and effective user experiences.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop responsive, accessible web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional user interfaces.
• Ensure all frontend code meets Section 508 accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
• Optimize frontend application performance, including load times, rendering, and resource utilization.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and data services.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce frontend development best practices.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, frontend frameworks, responsive design, user experience, and accessibility.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one.

Nice to Have

• AWS Certified Developer or equivalent cloud/frontend certification.
• Experience developing frontend applications for DoD or federal agency programs.
• Familiarity with design systems such as the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS).
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Selenium.
