Spatial Front, Inc is looking for a Frontend Developer to design and build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces for Federal Government web applications. You will deliver mission-critical digital solutions to our Federal Government customers, creating intuitive and effective user experiences.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop responsive, accessible web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional user interfaces.
- Ensure all frontend code meets Section 508 accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
- Optimize frontend application performance, including load times, rendering, and resource utilization.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and data services.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experiences.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce frontend development best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, frontend frameworks, responsive design, user experience, and accessibility.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one.
Nice to Have
- AWS Certified Developer or equivalent cloud/frontend certification.
- Experience developing frontend applications for DoD or federal agency programs.
- Familiarity with design systems such as the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS).
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Selenium.
