Rocket Communications is hiring a Front End Developer to design mission-critical applications and systems for space capabilities and cutting-edge technologies. In this role, you will help solve complex user experience challenges for space applications.
What You'll Do
- Develop complex, intelligent, and secure web applications with modern web technologies, prioritizing client-side development.
- Work closely with internal and external design teams, participate in the UI/UX design process, ensure feasibility of design, clarify ambiguous designs, and build reusable code and components.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years experience developing complex, intelligent, and secure web applications.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript ES6+).
- Knowledgeable about modern frameworks, with a strong preference for Angular experience.
- Experience using ServiceNow.
- Understanding of W3C compliance.
- Understanding of key web application design principles.
- Possession of an Active Top Secret Clearance.
- Willingness to work onsite a few days a week (likely two) in Colorado Springs, CO.
- Must be a US Citizen who lives in the USA.
Nice to Have
- Expertise in at least one object-oriented programming language, ideally Go or Java, or Ruby, Python, PHP, or C++.
- Understanding of government and enterprise work.
- Experience in server-side development.
- Experience with or a strong interest in map libraries and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js).
