Rocket Communications is hiring a Front End Developer

Rocket Communications is looking for a Front End Developer to solve complex user experience challenges for mission-critical space applications and systems. In this hybrid role, you'll build secure, intelligent web applications while working onsite in Greenwood Village, CO twice a week.

What You'll Do

• Develop complex, intelligent, and secure web applications with modern web technologies, prioritizing client-side development.
• Work closely with both internal and external design teams, participate in the UI/UX design process, and ensure design feasibility.
• Clarify ambiguous designs and build reusable code and components.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years experience developing complex web applications.
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript ES6+).
• Knowledgeable about modern frameworks, with a strong preference for Angular experience.
• Experience using ServiceNow.
• Understands W3C compliance and key web application design principles.
• Active Top Secret Clearance.
• Willing to work onsite a few days a week (likely two) in Greenwood Village, CO.
• US Citizen living in the USA.

Nice to Have

• Expertise in at least one object-oriented programming language– ideally Go or Java– or Ruby, Python, PHP, or C++.
• Understanding of government and enterprise work.
• Experience in server-side development.
• Experience with or a strong interest in map libraries and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js).
