Hilton is hiring a Front Office Operations Manager

About the Role

Hilton is looking for a Front Office Operations Manager to join our team at the New York Hilton Midtown. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all guest service operations to ensure profitability, cost control, and adherence to Hilton's Brand Standards for guest satisfaction. You will report to the Director of Front Office.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure daily objectives are completed by assigning and instructing Guest Service, Front Office, Reservations, and Front Desk Agents.
  • Oversee room reservations, front office systems, supplies inventory, forecasting, and the department budget to maximize revenue.
  • Compile and prepare financial reports, including those related to the hotel's rate and availability calendar.
  • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule, and evaluate staff, observing performance and encouraging improvement.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction and foster a team spirit through leadership and guidance.
  • Attend various operational meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hotel Front Office Manager role at a property with 500+ rooms.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Team & Environment

You will report to the Director of Front Office and will oversee a union guest services team.
