Gallup is hiring a Front-End Engineer to build scalable, intuitive interfaces that bring data-driven insights to life. You will design and develop the user experiences for Gallup Access, our premier global analytics and advice platform, using exceptional React skills to simplify complex data and inspire action.

What You'll Do

• Design and build dynamic, scalable, and accessible user interfaces that make data clear, engaging, and easy to act on
• Contribute to architectural decisions advancing the scalability, performance, and testability of front-end applications
• Research, prototype, and implement cutting-edge AI applications and features, integrating GenAI services and AWS-hosted APIs
• Integrate UI components into AWS-hosted, cloud-native applications
• Work on adjacent server-side codebases as needed, integrating with RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including designers, back-end engineers, and product managers
• Mentor others to continually level up our front-end capability across Gallup Access

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least five years of professional software engineering experience
• At least three years focused on front-end development with React and TypeScript
• Proficiency with the modern React ecosystem, including Vite, TanStack libraries (e.g., React Query), and Tailwind CSS
• Experience building and integrating data APIs
• Proficiency in at least one server-side programming language (e.g., Java, C#, or Python) and RESTful services
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Demonstrated ability to build data-intensive, high-performance UIs
• Experience developing or integrating GenAI-driven interfaces
• A commitment to working on-site at Gallup’s Omaha office at least three days per week

Nice to Have

• GraphQL experience
• Experience using AI coding tools to increase productivity and efficiency
• Coding community involvement, such as side projects, open-source contributions, or a public GitHub that reflects ongoing learning and experimentation

• Compensation range: $110,000-$170,000

Work Mode

This is a hybrid position requiring on-site work at our Omaha location at least three days per week.
