Requirements
- 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript and React, including modern patterns (hooks, suspense)
- Experience with real-time data (WebSockets, SSE, streaming updates)
- Comfortable working from Figma designs and implementing against design tokens
- Solid understanding of browser internals, web protocols, and performance. You can profile a slow page and explain why it's slow
- Comfortable designing and shipping long-lived applications: state management at scale, data-fetching patterns, error handling, observability
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Fluency with modern AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc.). You use AI as real leverage in your day-to-day work
Nice to Have
- Experience with TanStack (Query, Router, Table) or comparable libraries
- Experience building data-dense interfaces (dashboards, admin tools, monitoring/observability UIs)
- Background in design systems, component libraries, or owning frontend architecture at a previous company
- Comfort working close to the backend: reading OpenAPI specs, shaping API contracts, debugging across the stack
