Two Six Technologies is seeking a UI Software Engineer to design and implement web-based solutions that present complex data in novel ways. Your work will help policy makers, corporate leaders, and operators make sense of information spaces by working with product engineering teams to turn data into valuable insights.
What You'll Do
- Develop innovative, engaging, and effective UI/UX features that help our users.
- Operate in a collaborative, agile environment, with a focus on taking action and working closely with peers to enable team success.
- Create proofs-of-concept and prototypes to quickly test ideas, as well as design and build scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Consider security best practices at every phase of software development.
- Continuously learn and improve.
- Work within Scrum and Agile methodologies and be an active part of our continuous improvement efforts.
- Solve problems and question assumptions.
- Review code and perform manual and automated testing.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with the design, development, testing, and support of scalable JavaScript applications deployed to production.
- Experience building UI solutions using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with React, Angular, Next.js, or similar libraries/frameworks.
- Experience working independently and as part of an agile team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Eligibility to obtain a government clearance if required/needed.
Nice to Have
- Experience building web based solutions using JavaScript, React, Python, and Postgres.
- Experience working with cloud systems, Linux, and containerized applications.
- Experience as a member of remote engineering teams working in Agile software development environments.
