The Motley Fool is looking for a Freelance Writer/Stock Analyst to contribute market insights and stock analysis articles. You'll join a purpose-driven financial information firm dedicated to making the world smarter, happier, and richer.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with editors to produce insightful stock analysis articles of 600-800 words
- Cover companies across various sectors including tech, electric vehicles, offshore drillers, healthcare, and regional banks
- Write and publish a minimum of 20 articles per month
- Use article-level data provided by editors to pursue the most profitable article topics and angles
- Use proven SEO strategies to boost article performance
- File articles in a Fool-created content management system
What We're Looking For
- Strong professional writing experience
- Subject matter expertise in stock analysis
- A passion for teaching the world about the stock market
- Skilled writer and analyst, with samples of work
- Strong understanding of The Motley Fool's investment philosophy
- Experience writing about financial topics and for another financial publication
- Ability to write in The Motley Fool's informative, fun, and thoughtful 'Foolish' tone
- Must reside in the United States
